1991:  Gerber group opened its first venue, The Whiskey, at the Paramount Hotel, designed by Philippe Starck and David Rockwell. This property is credited with starting the boutique hotel category.

1992: The group continued its expansion with Morgans Bar at the Morgan Hotel in New York City. Expanding to Los Angeles, Gerber Group also opened The Whiskey at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, followed by the legendary Sky Bar at the Mondrian Hotel.

1995: Expanding beyond nightlife, Gerber Group was approached by Giorgio Armani to manage the Armani Cafes in Boston, Costa Mesa, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

1996: Armani Café, New York City.

1997: Whiskey Park, Trump Parc, Central Park South, New York City.

1998: Gerber Group partners with Starwood Hotels & Resorts to develop a distinctive new hotel brand — the now renowned W Hotels® Worldwide. The alliance led to the rapid expansion of Gerber Bars in W Hotels around the country. Several W Hotels opened in New York City including Lexington, The Court, The Tuscany, Times Square, and Union Square. Properties were also opened at W Hotels in Los Angeles, Boston, New Orleans, Mexico City and Chicago.

2001: The Whiskey, Green Valley Ranch Resort, Las Vegas.

2004: Stone Rose Lounge, Time Warner Center, New York City.

2006: Stone Rose Lounge, Sofitel, Los Angeles. Other openings that year included Midnight Rose and The Penthouse, ME, Madrid; The Beachhouse, Rose Bar and Maxim Beach, ME, Cancun and Cherry, a nightclub at Red Rock Resort & Casino, Las Vegas.

2007: Stone Rose Lounge, Fairmont Hotel, Scottsdale.

2008: Whiskey Park and Living Room, W Midtown Hotel, Atlanta.

2009: Whiskey Blue, W Buckhead Hotel, Atlanta; Whiskey Blue, Living Room and WET, W Fort Lauderdale; Whiskey Blue, Living Room and Red2One, W Santiago, Chile.

2010: Stone Rose Bar & Grill, Delta Terminal of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

2011: Lilium, W New York – Union Square, New York City.

2012: THE LCL: Bar & Kitchen, The Westin New York Grand Central, New York City.

2013: Kingside, Viceroy New York.

2014: The Roof, Viceroy New York. Studio with contemporary artist Domingo Zapata, W New York – Union Square, New York City.

2015: Irvington, W New York – Union Square, New York City. Mr. Purple, Hotel Indigo Lower East Side, New York City.
